The automotive industry is experiencing a remarkable move from the internal combustion engine (ICE) to an all-electric power platform. This natural shift essentially supported by electric drive development where wide-bandgap (WBG) materials are at center of this transformation. gallium nitride (GaN)- or silicon carbide (SiC)-based electronics taking place due theoretical limits Si MOSFETs that has been reached for many systems. Battery charging maybe first high-volume market demonstrate GaN adoption, and SiC devices now increasingly used in high-voltage converters with stringent size, weight, requirements [1] . Definitively, EVs considered heart global push toward more sustainable future.
